I made this quilt as a Prayer Quilt complete with cords scattered around the quilt. As a quilting group when a prayer quilt is selected for a person in need we each say a prayer then tie a knot in one of the cords.

Beautiful, it seems a marble mosaic!
What a beautiful idea!! We make knitted or crocheted prayer shawls, in a pattern of 3 three. The pattern of three represents the Trinity. It is not uncommon to see people knitting during a church service!
