I started this quilt when my husband had a stroke in 3/2016. Everything except the quilting was done by hand. Which I also did on a friends longarm. The hexys are 2 1/2″ for a total of 1800. It took me 2 1/2 years to complete and another 6 months to finally get all the binding hand-sewn on. Our daughter fell in love with it when I was working on it during a visit with them. She recieved it for Christmas this year.
