This was time consuming cake! Top made of fondant lined mild, filled with rice crispies & marshmallow. Sponge cake made from large slab cake with Millennium Falcon shape cut using top as template. Cake split & filled with buttercream & cherries made into thickened ‘gel’ spread over it, then crumb coated & covered in fondant to match ‘topper’! I used cardboard covered in fondant for back shape & attached LED lights with different light sequences. Placed on 2’ cake board with stand made to hold cake on slant to give‘flying’ effect! Base board covered in marbled black purple red & blue fondant with individual egg box pieces cut & covered in fondant for ‘space’ effect The recipient was thrilled when delivered!
