I found this fabric, Effie’s Woods and decided it would be perfect for my new great granddaughter. I cut blocks out of the panel and bordered them with fabric from the line and alternated these blocks with 9 patch blocks. Inner border 2 inches, outer border 5 inches. All fabric used was from the Effie’s Woods by Deb Strain for Moda. I named it Warrior Princess. My great granddaughter was born 3 months early and even in her incubator we have video of her little fist up in the air like she was fighting.
