This quilt was made for my daughter as she battled cancer. Her youngest daughter chose the fabric, her oldest daughter came up with the basic design, and both girls helped put the fabric pieces together to create the blocks. Granny (that’s me) got to do all the sewing, and I got the ladies at the quilting club help me decide how to layout the blocks. The quilting is in a heart design, and the binding is blocks of the same fabrics made up from 2 1/2” triangles. This is the first quilt I have ever designed and the first one I have completed. And yes, I hand stitched a label.
